Heath Ceramics

Robin Petravic & Cathy Bailey

Heath Ceramics started out as a small-scale pottery in 1948 with husband and wife Edith and Brian Heath. A half-century later, it’s evolved into one of the most well-known American ceramics companies, now helmed by husband and wife Robin Petravic and Cathy Bailey. Heath Ceramics now creates impeccably crafted dinnerware, flatware, decor, furniture and accessories that make lasting impressions. Now you can find their products across five locations and showrooms in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas, not to mention retailers across the U.S. They’ve been featured in New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, Dwell—with Robin and Cathy’s personal home getting major love from Design Sponge.

For all their growth and praise, Heath Ceramics states humbly they’re “a maker of goods for your home.” And it shouldn’t be anything more complicated than that. They’re proponents of a pure and simple way of life and business. They craft their products with thoughtfulness, humbleness and pride—and want us to own them with the same ideals.

“There’s an honesty in allowing materials to come through without additional adornment.” – Robin Petravic

“We’re not looking at sales, but what feels current and classic.” – Cathy Bailey
