Giorgio Rapicavoli is one of our favorite humans to spend time with. The young and talented chef has won Chopped and been recognized as a two-time James Beard Award semifinalist, made Forbes’ “30 Under 30 List” and been labeled 'Miami’s Hottest Chef.' We had so much fun exploring his native Piedmont with Giorgio last year; we can't wait to join him once again next year in Piedmont and in Argentina as he traces the culinary roots of his father's homeland.

Last year we spent a week in Piedmont with Giorgio exploring, eating, drinking and celebrating the home of ‘Slow Food’ in its birthplace (see our Field Notes and trip photos).

Giorgio lives by the saying “good, clean and fair,” Slow Food wisdom that has its origins here in Bra, Piedmont, and he can’t wait to show it to us himself, again!
